Abstract

Climate change poses significant threats to coastal areas, especially in the Philippine Islands, which are vulnerable to sea-level rise. This study conducts a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of climate change on the Philippine Islands, focusing on the effects of sea-level rise in coastal regions. The urgency of this research lies in the growing concerns about climate change and its potential to disrupt the lives and livelihoods of coastal communities.  Climate change, particularly sea-level rise, poses a significant threat to coastal areas in the Philippine Islands. This research aims to fill the existing research gap by conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the impact, vulnerabilities, and adaptation strategies in these regions. Understanding the urgency and implications of climate change in the Philippines is vital for safeguarding the well-being of coastal communities and ecosystems.
